The check in line I got there 2 hours before my flight and waited an hour in line just to get to the counter. The line was still long after I had gotten to the counter. It should not take that long for a line to move especially if you get there 2 hours beforehand. The flight You had to pay for a snacks, water and sodas. Cons: "Had a delay of nearly 3 h for maintenance issues, then once plane at the gate boarding was further delayed due to a fuel spill on tarmac when fueling the aircraft"

Pros: "Boarding, customer service, and flight crew were great. I also found the economy seats to be quite comfortable. I did not get sore or ache even on a transatlantic flight, although the under-seat storage was too tight to easily fit even a small backpack. I think the limited storage was only for an aisle seat, because there was a bar ensuring items did not slide into the aisle and endanger people walking through the cabin."

Cons: "The plane was outdated. Plastic covers were missing from parts of the seat, which left exposed metal that I had to rest my leg against. My entertainment center also did not work. The touch screen did not function at all, and the map and games would not load. What did eventually work was still incredibly slow."

Cons: "I did not appreciate the airline encouraging us to pay for an upgrade on seats that did not merit an upcharge. The entertainment centers did not work well (or at all) on either leg of our trip. The crew was not generous with water and acted a little put out when we asked for anything."

Pros: "Unacceptable never again will I recommend you"

Cons: "Utterly unprofessional"

Pros: "Loved being on a flight for holiday, and knowing I wasn't being overcharged for needless frills."

Cons: "I don't remember if they served a drink, I know things were for sale. But that seems to be the European way."

Pros: "Sainsburys"

Cons: "Security. Large distances to walk. Poor signage. Poor processes re onboarding. Booked Aer Lingus. Was actually a shitty Stobard plane."

Pros: "nothing"

Cons: "even smaller seats, more cramped than the previous flight and even more children crying"

Pros: "My fiancé and I were on our way back from Ireland (where we actually had just gotten engaged!!!) and the flight attendants made our return flight amazing!! They were so nice and congratulatory and even provided us complimentary champagne. I cannot rave enough about the excellent customer service we received!"

Pros: "Seating was comfortable with a head rest. Large screens for entertainment Food was edible offer a good amount of drinks Staff was friendly"

Cons: "Luggage did not make connecting flight. Difficult process to book seats because it was not booked directly through aer lingus. No online seat booking."

Pros: "Temperature was good. Fortunately the seat next to me was empty which always makes it more comfortable if only the person in front of me did not move her seat back - that makes it difficult to get up. Movie choices were good and the individual screen was good for watching and could be paused."

Cons: "International flights usually include wine with their meal but this would have been an overpriced purchase. The selection of food was marginal and too spicy, only the dessert was edible. Not the quality of the last trip on aer Lingus. There was a second snack sandwich although soggy and unappealing with a minimal slice of chicken."

Pros: "open seats were a blessing"

Cons: "food terrible, entertainment very poor for a 10 hour flight - old, boring movies, also the restrooms in the terminal at Dublin were really bad - terrible way to start a long flight"

Pros: "Boarding was efficient. Flight took off on time and landed ahead of schedule. Exactly right for a short no frills flight."

Cons: "N/a"

Cons: "There was nothing that I did not like about this flight."

Pros: "Plane was new and very comfortable. Smooth flight"

Cons: "Flight attendants had to serve food/drinks, which they did the entire flight (literally, drink service took 2 hours). People got drunk and super loud. We were late leaving London which isn’t an issue except the people at the BA desk were the least helpful. We found out more from the pilots than anyone in the airport."

Pros: "A great flight Thank you"

Pros: "Food"

Cons: "BA/KAYAK lost my seat booking details, so I had to pay again. Plane was 3 hours late leaving."

Pros: "Not much."

Cons: "No drink, fixed seat, am senior and no assistance at all."

Cons: "Would have been nice to have been offered a glass of water."

Pros: "Clean"

Cons: "my flight was cancelled"

Pros: "Boarding efficient and polite"

Cons: "Old plane. If there was food they didn’t offer (said they had drinks) . When we asked they said we missed it. No WiFi or entertainment . Seats without modern headrests."

Pros: "The crews were good and the que to board the flight was well organized."

Cons: "Uncomfortable chairs with thin backing that allowed me to feel everything the person behind me was doing. The entertainment screens were not very clear."

Cons: "There was preferential treatment for British passengers - they were taken care of first and with a friendly tone."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, good selection of food/drinks from the menu and courteous staff"

Cons: "NA"

Pros: "Comfortable flight. On time departure"

Cons: "Could not check in online or via app due to system issues"

Pros: "Serve was normal and so was the food."

Cons: "Left the terminal building by bus to the aircraft. Had to exit the bus, WALK ACROSS the tarmac and up a set of stairs to the plane. REALLY, British Air couldn't find a proper gate at the terminal? What if it had been raining or my elderly mother that needs a wheel chair? BA needs to solve these problems fast if they want my service in the future."

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Seats didn't recline, no entertainment, no beverage or food service. Delayed leaving and landing and the ground crew couldn't find a working jet bridge further delaying the disembarkment. I almost missed my connection despite a 90 minite layover."

Pros: "20 minutes late taking off and made up a few minutes. They had run out of sandwiches that we liked so we didn't bother with buying food all in all I'm so food so so trip"

Pros: "I was traveling by British airways flight BA271 on 13 December 2017. The plane is old but comfortable. I was looking for USB pots I can't find it. Helpful crew and flight comfortable and landing was perfect. British always need to improve. Thanks"

Cons: "Flight was too long to reach Las Vegas"

Pros: "Simple no drama very professional, Good service, Food to suit almost every flavour and preference . Entertainiment is a 3 star cause There’s nothing there to be offered apart from newspaper and A magazine."

Cons: "Child sitting behind me kept dropping the table and pushing it back up"

Cons: "Absolute nightmare dealing with British cancelled flight and then having them rebook me with American, their "partner" company. Spent three hours this morning dealing with these two unprofessional companies and their lack of communication between each other."

Cons: "Flight crew was just ok; nothing they did made me want to fly with British Airways again. Salad was good but the chicken nondescript."

Pros: "Really friendly nice crew"

Cons: "Comfort OK but person in front had seat back all the time"

Pros: "Everything."

Cons: "Nothing."

Pros: "Comfortable and on time. We didn't have any food or entertainment so can't rate for them."

Pros: "The head rest."

Cons: "I waited in line at Iberia airlines only to find out I had to go to British Airways. The seats were so tiny. I'm 6 feet tall and usually fit comfortably but this was so bad. Food was absolute slop."

Pros: "Great staff"

Cons: "Would have like wifi so I could plan my trip and do some business."

Cons: "BA insisted on gate checking my carry on. I've never had this problem before. Really annoying especially considering the tight connection and the late take off"

Pros: "Bording was quick"

Cons: "Crew was serious, absolutely not happy to smile Genuine smile is really appreciated whenmeeting custimers. Food trolley/ drinks came to customers and before we could react it was gone. When we asked them back they were not very happy looking . Seats we not comfortable."

Pros: "Great movie selection! Really good...."

Cons: "I'm 5.10 so seats are much worse for me because of long legs! Especially on a long flight :("

Pros: "The crew were pleasant and polite. Energetic, good ambassadors for BA."

Cons: "The plane was dirty. My tray table hadn't been wiped down in a long time, and the prior passenger's used flight socks had not been removed from the drawer. The pillow was laughable - - flat as a pancake. . One of the business class lavs was out of service. . This was an overused 777 desperately in need of a refurbishment. And don't get me started on the ridiculous 2-4-2 seating in business class. How does BA think it can get away with it, when competitors offer 1-2-1?"

Cons: "There was no direction when boarding, resulting in 2 lines of people from different direction trying to board! No entertainment at all. You have to pay for even water."

Cons: "Flight delayed 1 hour. No drinks included"

Pros: "Service"

Cons: "They ran out of food. Did not get a choice"

Cons: "The overhead luggage bins near my seat on my LAX-LHR flight were too small to accomodate my European standard carry-on, which meant that another passenger and I had to store our luggage three sections away before there was an empty bin big enough. I understand the need for different sized bins, especially since our seats were up against the galley, but I felt a little unsupported by the crew. They basically just told us, "walk down far enough and you'll find something"--this was true but not exactly helpful. It's a small thing, but I think maybe if you warned passengers sitting in seats with smaller bins ahead of time, that would help make things smoother, since another stressor was that we didn't find places for our luggage until it was almost time for takeoff."

Pros: "Pleasant efficient staff. Flight on time"

Pros: "Friendly, efficient and caring. A comfortable experience at a very low price."

Cons: "NA"

Pros: "No delays, good quality seating and service"

Cons: "The change to a packet of crisps or nuts instead of a snack."

Pros: "The aircraft was much newer than the cramped old BA plane we took on the way to London. Much more comfortable- a bit more legroom. Screens in seatbacks for TV/movie viewing rather than the old laptops we were given on previous BA flight. Friendly flight attendants and food was great. Made for a very pleasant international trip!"

Pros: "Boarding was smooth, the attendants attendant, the food surprisingly good, and the entertainment outstanding. An entire library of in-flight movies, a display of where your flight is in the world, a few in-lfight games and even an in-flight chatroom."

Cons: "A few times, I feel like the attendants either didn't notice me."

Pros: "Food wasn't bad"

Pros: "The best service from Boston to London"

Cons: "electrical outlets at seats would be useful"

Pros: "Bangalore airport was quick and efficient"

Cons: "Time between connections at Heathrow Terminal 5 was too short and the terminal has long distances , slow passport control and security check. Terminal 5 is rubbish."

Pros: "Same experience as always. Consistent"

Cons: "There was no entertainment or food provided"

Pros: "We got beverages right away"

Cons: "No entertainment for the flight"

Pros: "Shorter trip"

Cons: "The customer service at the check in booths people were extremely rude and not helpful! One of the worst experiences"

Pros: "The flight was on time"

Cons: "Very cramped Carry bag allowance too small"

Pros: "I got there nearly on time"

Cons: "65% of customers had priority so a bun fight to get on. We then tried to use the faster entry on non priority to get into the lounge and were sent back to the priority queue. families with kids weren't given the option of getting on first. Seats were incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of space for bags."

Pros: "Some of the staff were nice"

Cons: "Flight was delayed four hours, and while that happens sometimes, what really upset me was the compete lack of help and competence from the staff. It seemed to me nobody knew what to do or what was going on. I tried to talk to three different desks and the cabin crew and nobody could help at all."

Pros: "On time and quick boarding, arrived before schedule and no issues with flight"

Cons: "Some passengers very noisy and shouting throughout flight but not the airlines fault"

Pros: "No hassle"

Pros: "Warmth"

Cons: "Airport security"

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Lines were 20 times longer than every other airline and we almost missed our flight because of it. The seats were u comfortable and small."

Pros: "The crew was friendly. I enjoyed the low fee to get priority boarding with guaranteed cabin baggage."

Cons: "The crew was late, which delayed our takeoff by 20 minutes, which is unpleasant when you have already boarded the plane and are stuck in your seat. However, the flight only landed 5 minutes later than planned. The seats are not very comfortable for flights longer than one hour. There is not enough room to work on your laptop at your seat. I was constantly bumping elbows with the passenger next to me. The cabin temperature was extremely warm. I was sweating nearly the entire flight and I felt very uncomfortable."

Cons: "Lack of comunicoation and lack of services. Probably it was a bit cheaper than the competitors. But I made me think twice for next time Ryanair cross my way."

Cons: "Delays"

Cons: "Terrible time checking in on line .Finally got some help but was told if I did not check in on line it would cost me another 55euros. :0("

Pros: "The plane was nice and new."

Cons: "The cabin bag policy is ridiculous - we had small backpacks and had to put them in the hold. The plane was oversold so we were late while we waited for someone to get off. My friend has an NZ passport (with a 5 year ancestory UK visa) and had to print out her boarding pass at the hotel and then get it stamped - we don’t have to do this for any other low cost flights! Not sure Ryanair is really worth the “cheap” flights with all the add ons and hassle."

Cons: "We booked our daughter priority so she was entitled to bring a hand carry on board. When she got the airport they insisted that she had to put her hand carry in the hold despite it having her passport in it!! The Captain very kindly helped her retrieve it from the hold at the end of the flight but why did she ever have to put it in there when she was priority and we paid for it?"

Cons: "you sent the us the wrong us the bookings the wrong way round malaga to newcastle 10th of march instead of the other way rounding the same on the return flight newcastle to malaga 17th march .hence had to rebook costing us a fortune.!!!"

Pros: "Staff good and flight on time"

Cons: "Cost of on board services"

Pros: "Boarding and flying time very good"

Cons: "Noisy passengers (stag party and 40birthday)"

Pros: "Nothing"

Cons: "Added way to many costs for EVERYTHING. We were the only ones in line to check a bag and it took 30 minutes to do so because the computers needed to be turned on. The seats were uncomfortable and felt unclean. And we think it was absurd to pay to sit with someone you book a flight with."

Pros: "The flight was easy; no issues."

Cons: "No USB charging ports on the airplane."

Cons: "I was trying to check in in the past 24 hours. The system wouldn’t allow me and I ended up paying 50 Euros extra only to check in what I had already paid for in full in the first plCe. Then, just to top off the wonderful morning - I got an agent whose attitude was extremely rude and poor to inform me correctly what was the next steps and procedure. Finally, both my hand bags carry on get checked in and now I am stuck at the airport waiting for two little bags that could’ve easily got on top of my compartment where I was."

Pros: "That there was a possibility the plane crashed, so my flight would end earlier."

Cons: "Everything."

Pros: "No hitches. I recently bought proper cabin baggage with Ryanair approved dimensions and had checked in online so no hassles. If you follow Ryanair guidelines and have requested paperwork and baggage allowance your experience should be incident free."

Cons: "Nothing to declare."

Cons: "The Ryan Air staff were ignorant and complained when asked any questions."

Cons: "My connection at Stansted was very tight. Faced with long lines which could have mennt me missing my flight, I was five no option it to upgrade my ticket. Flight was also 20 minutes late."

Pros: "easy to check in with self-service check in and bag drop"

Cons: "seats are not particularly comfortable"

Pros: "The boarding was efficient flight"

Cons: "Flight was delayed. Seats are not comfortable. I was in a bus at the back and when it arrived at the demarcation door, the driver didn't open all the 3 doors! He only opened the front door beside himself so everyone had to exit by that door."

Pros: "Flight took 1.5hrs rather than the expected 2hrs, departed on time. Cheap as chips if bought at right time."

Cons: "No entertainment and poor food choice quite expensive and limited inflight purchases"

Cons: "Never got a heads up for boarding pass and baggage. I now know to pay $100.00 more when dealing with your competitors."

Cons: "Flight delayed, no baggage tags to put cabin cases in hold and ‘random allocation’ seats actively place people as far away from each other as possible"

Pros: "Everything was acceptable apart from their petty ploy to split couples up"

Cons: "Because we don't want to pay extra for seating we don't check in until 4 days before the flight. Usually this is not a problem but on this flight they split us up, one at the front & one at the rear, then they ask if we want to pay extra to sit together. This is a very petty ploy to get extra money. It doesn't work !! The passengers just swop when on the plane"

Pros: "Crew when asked was very helpful and polite. They were definitely working the entire flight to assist people."

Cons: "Crew took about the entire flight to handle the food and drinks, coming from both ends. This caused a block to the bathrooms and people waiting long periods and finally just stuffing in all over the place to get passed the carts. Expensive flight for us since we had to buy the same day. While most of the security attendants were great, I did have to wait a very long time to get a pat down I requested rather than go through the scanner (required to be in a separate room) that was 95% the same as the one they were giving everyone after they came through the scanner, with the only difference being a hand and belt line swipe and paperwork. I have had this same procedure done in three airports prior on this trip and all were more aggressive/thorough and did not require a separate room and extreme wait. Though again, all the female staff were great."

Pros: "Everything was very good"

Cons: "The fact that I couldn't go"

Pros: "In flight experience was great."

Cons: "First time flying RyanAir and didn't checkin before arriving at airport. We're treated extremely rudely and charged Euro 100. Had priority boarding but boarding was horrible."

Pros: "Flight was mostly on time, not bad after a security incident at Marseilles Airport"

Cons: "This was really cattle class. We were herded onto the plane, held in tiny pens, and herded off. But it was cheap."

Pros: "Priority boarding that I paid for. Security Fast Track that I paid for."

Cons: "Interminable lines to simply drop bags with pre-paid bags and boarding passes printed at home -- It took an hour! Check-in staff seemingly oblivious to what is happening around them. About the most cramped seats on any airline I've taken (and I've flown in virtually all parts of the world, and I'm small). Constant harangue over the PA from in-flight staff trying to sell things, even lottery tickets."

Pros: "Price was ok if you don't have to check in luggage."

Cons: "Had to check on line to avoid a check in fee !!! Seats are crammed, thank God it was a short flight. Long line to check bags & to board"

Pros: "The air crew were excellent"

Cons: "Communications around boarding and gates was chaotic and our take off was delayed for over an hour. Staff were rude and unhelpful. They seemed confused themselves and found it difficult to communicate anything helpful to passengers"

Cons: "They took my cabin luggage to the cargo even though it is the right size due to no more space in over head compartment and I believe if they where strict about the size with the All Pax and only allowed one price each in the hand the compartments would have been sufficient. You need to make sure to ask pax to be at check in desk 2 hrs before dept during peak periods due to security takes longer time make the story short I was happy with the above all standards Abdullah Benafif."

Pros: "Boarding was ridiculous from both ends of plane with people from back end squeezing past people from front end to find their seats. They list my checked backpack on a flight from Amsterdam to Spain. It took 5 days to get it back. Crazy!"

Cons: "Everyone had backpacks that got checked for free. Why did I pay to check my luggage? Stupid."

Pros: "But not in a great way! Seat was pretty comfortable. Flight arrived on time."

Cons: "It was a loud booze cruise flight from Dublin to Malaga. Very happy Irish holiday makers. it was loud but the passengers mostly were good sorts. The flight attendants were pretty rude--never excusing themselves or apologizing for pushing past people. The toilet in the front was disgusting. NO HaNDSOAP. Told attendant--no soap, she said. Very nasty situation. i think it will be my only Ryanair trip."

Cons: "The priority boarding line needs to be separated from the regular boarding. There is a rush toward the gate when it ipens"

Pros: "There are many horror stories on the web about flying RyanAir, so I expected the worst. My wife and I flew RT from Dublin to Koln. Although we carry on on all other airlines (in the US), we paid extra to check our carry on bags because of the Ryanair website, which sounded VERY strict about bag size and threatened to charge 50E or something per bag if ours were too big. Turns out all the other passengers had the same huge carry-ons as always. I probably wares the bag fee. Ryan requires you to print boarding passes before you get to the airport or they will charge 50E per person to print(!). The boarding process is a cattle call, but most people are polite with little shoving. The seats on the plane are hard and don't recline. All in all, we saved money and the flight was OK. Just know what to expect."

Pros: "Friendly staff"

Cons: "Delay by two hours"

Cons: "They tell you to check in online, it is not possible, then they charge you an extra €45 at the airport. Second time it has happened, it's a scam. Last time I fly Ryanair."

Pros: "Had seat assignment with my husband. Short easy flight"

Cons: "Seats didn't adjust. Plane could have been cleaner"

Pros: "We had a very good and comfortable flight and were well looked after by the cabin crew, will be using company again well done."

Pros: "This company employs several rude employees which is unbelievable"

Cons: "It is unbelievable all of the "additional" fees that they conveniently forget to mention"

Pros: "Quick flight"

Cons: "The plane was very dirty. The seat was blown out, no passing at all. The landing was like a car crash. I find Ryan Air has pilots at that can't land the plane smoothly. Never once on all the flights I've taken with them. You get what you pay for, that's what everyone says, right."
